PRIMER is pleased to present the next artist opening in our First Friday series:

Step Right Up!
Michele Melcher's Carnival of Amazing Marvels
at the PRIMER Microstudio
this Friday, October 3rd
6:00 to 9:00 pm

Michele is an award winning illustrator and fine artist practicing her craft in the Philadelphia area. Her carnival-inspired paintings have been described as "amazing", "wonderful", "stupendous", and even "a bit disturbing". Michele was one of the first artists to show at the Microstudio with a sampling of her illustration work. We're excited to have her back, this time showing off her fine art talents. Step Right Up to one of the greatest art shows around!

We've also put up some photos from our last First Friday artist opening, which was on Friday, September 5th, featuring the photographs of Amanda Ellinger and the abstract paintings of Paul Perry. Check them out!

News

More of our design work was featured as the Graphic Design of the Day at DESIGN AND DESIGN. On September 19th, our very own business cards were featured; on September 17th, our Wharton Stewardship Folders; and on September 1st, our logo for the Delaware Valley Modernists. All these works will be published in the 2008 DESIGN AND DESIGN Book of the Year. This will be PRIMER's second time in publication, as well as our second international recognition.
